Our menu items originate from the mediterranean basin. While it is nearly impossible to serve every dish that originates from that area, we have selected a handful of popular, delicious and familiar items to share with our customers. Some of these items fall under the umbrella of “Shawarma”. This word comes from the Turkish term “rotates”. Shawarma stands for any meat that is assembled on a large vertical or horizontal skewer “spit” that slowly rotates next to a heat source. This setup allows the meat to cook slowly while allowing the complete absorption of the spices creating the unique flavor.

Recipes may vary from region to another. Shawarma is most popular in the Eastern Mediterranean, Turkey (doner), Greece (gyros), Mexico (pastor), North Africa, Europe and Central Asia. We bring you the Lebanese recipe for chicken and beef that we grew up loving with the hope that you do the same. This combination of a wrap, Fries and a soda is served almost identically every day on the streets of Beirut and is enjoyed by millions daily.
